Speaker: Pst Onesmus Makuta

Theme : Where have you come from and where are you going?

Scriptures: Gen 3:9 ~> The 1st Question God ever asked a man. “Adam, where are you?”

– Daniel knew the secret.

– You are either destroying or building your future.

– When God asked Adam “where are you? ” He was asking about his spiritual standing.

– Gen 16:7-8 => The Lord asked Hagar where she was coming from and where she was going.

– Before you get blessings, you must go through torture, torment, storms of life, persecution, and frustrations.

– Running away will not solve your problems.

– Gen 16:9 ~> Hagar was told to go back to her mistress Sarai and submit herself.

– Hagar had a destiny according to Gen 16:10-11, Gen 17:19

– Our lives are determined by the words spoken to us.

– Life is about decisions that you make.

THE 3 C’s

Luke 23:39-41

3C’s – C~> Chances

            – C~> Choices

            – C~> Consequences

1. CHANCES.

– Excuses are the nails used to build a coffin for a foolish person!

– My past should not determine my future.

– The choices I make today are my tomorrow’s consequences.

– I can choose what I want to become.

– Eccl 9:11: Time and chances happens to them all.

Being illiterate doesn’t mean you should be poor. “Choices!”

Gal 6:10

Isaiah 55:6

2. CHOICES

(Power to use your will to create your destiny)

– Destiny is always made by the decisions we make on a personal level and not the conditions around us.

– Joshua 24:15 -Joshua made a choice of Whom he would serve.

– Matt 7:13 A narrow gate and a broad gate, choose.

3. CONSEQUENCES– This is the law of harvest.

– You don’t have a choice in the consequences that are coming. Gal 6:7-8

– Consequences are not chosen, they are a harvest of the chances we had and the choices we made.
