•Isaiah 43:1 “..Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.”
• Fear often comes when we feel unknown, unclaimed, or alone. But God speaks directly to that feeling, He does not simply tell us to stop fearing, He tells us why we can: we are redeemed, called by name, and His.
Fear loses its grip the moment we remember who has called us.
• Fear rises when we focus on what surrounds us instead of who is with us. Joshua faced an impossible task, but God’s charge to him was not about the size of the battle, but the certainty of His presence.(Joshua 1:7,9)
• The turning point comes when fear becomes a prayer instead of a burden we carry alone.
• Psalm 50:15 God encourages us to …”Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
• Every worry surrendered to God in prayer is a declaration that He, not our circumstance, has the final word.
• When we choose to trust God even while afraid, we declare that He is greater than what we see.(Psalm 56:3) “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”
• At the Red Sea, Israel was surrounded with nowhere to run — yet God’s instruction was simple: be still, for He would fight for them.
• Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
• Your trust is not merely a reaction to your fear, it is a declaration of faith that God is able to fight the battle on your behalf.
To overcome fear
1. Remember God is with you
His promises are never uncertain — they’re anchored in His presence. (Joshua 1:7, 9)
2. Pray instead of worrying
• Turn every worry into prayer.(Psalm 50:15)
3. Feed your focus
What you meditate on grows. Fill your mind with what is true, noble, and pure. Philippians 4:8
4. Recall your identity
You were not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. You are a child, not a slave to fear. (Romans 8:15 ) (2 Timothy 1:7)
5. Practice active trust
Trust is a daily choice to lean on Him even when circumstances shout otherwise.
