KNOWING GOD 

(Jeremiah 9:23-24)

• God is delighted when we know Him.

(John 17:3)

• Eternal life is in us when we know our lord Jesus Christ.

WHY WE SHOULD KNOW GOD

1. The kingdom of God is a mystery. We ought to strive to understand it.

2. The more we know God, the more victorious life we’ll have.

3. The more we know God, the more we relate with Him deeply.

4. The more we know God, the more we participate in His nature.

5. The more we know God, the more our service is effective to Him.

6. The more we know God, the more we understand men deeply.

• Knowing Christ must come from a place of revelation. Christ must be revealed by God Himself.

4 AREAS TO KNOW OUR GOD 

1. Nature of God – Sovereignty of God. (1 Chronicles 29:11-12, Daniel 4:35)

2. The attributes of God – The character of God.

3. His ways. How God operates.

4. The deeds of the Lord. (Psalms 103:7)
